1. Install a lottery and use most of the profits to pump money into our public school system. With this money i will ensure that schools are using better hiring practices to make sure our kids get the best education from the best teachers. With more money in the system, the good teachers will get rewarded with salary increases, the bad teachers will not. Simple. We will also use this money to provide better nutrition for students, and better facilities to learn and grow as young adults in. The amount of money a school recieves will be directly attributed to performance of the school. This way, all schools will have a chance to get better funding if they are running their school the best they can. Also, profits from to lottery will also go to bettering after school programs, local parks, bascially, all of the money will be pumped into communites.
2. Have you ever driven down a road that is being worked on for no good reason? Well that is coming to an end my friends. There will be no contruction on a road untill other probelm areas are fixed. Too much money is spent on road contruction. Lets work on the roads that really need it first, then, we will do routine maitenence. Lets save these tax payers some money.
3. There must, i repeat, must be increased punishment for our crinimals. If you kill someone, you are not getting out of prison. If you rape a young child, you will never get out of prison. If you are moving drugs, not only are you doing jail time, but you will be required to attend drug addiction class, if you do not show up, more jail time. It is time that we make it safe to live in our communites again.
4. Offer tax incentives for companies bringing business to the area and creating more jobs. The more diverse array of jobs we have available the more likely our local economy will continue to grow. The key is bringing in major corporations who will bring jobs in for a long haul. We dont need more 5-10 ranges, we need lifetime jobs available for thousands. By doing this, we can establish a infinite income for our community. The more money we have, the more we can educate our kids, keep our streets safe, our city clean, and our state a great place to live and raise a family for generations.
5. We need to establish an oversight committe to ensure there is no corruption in all of our programs. So help me God, i will not be bought out and i will fight those who try to abuse thier power for personal gain. This country was not founded on greed, it was founded on hard work and success. There is nothing different about our great state. Out with greed and corruption and in with hard work and prosperity.
6. Last thing, and i truly believe this is the most important. I will keep a direct line of communication open with all of the people. I can not do my job to the best of my abilities if i do not get feedback from my fellow people. I do not know everything, i do not have all of the answers. Only by working with everyone can we find common ground and improve our community. I do not care if you are the poorest person or the wealthiest, everyone is open to talk to me. It will be you people who get me there and it will be the people who keep us running.

Keep in mind i am only 21 and have a little bit before i finish my schooling. So i still have time to learn and grow. I am confident though, that i will be here 15 years from now, leading Alabama to bigger and better things. Prosperity for those who want it, and peace for all who need it.

   Women have to the right to choose to make their partner wear a condom. They can choose to take birth control. Hell, how about this one, they even choose to NOT have sex (gasp!). The point is, women have all sorts of preventative ways to not have a kid thanks to the technology in this country. One of those technologies should never be abortion. Just stop for a second, espcecially women, and think of how many ways you can think of to avoid getting pregnant. It is quite staggering of all the things there, you just never stop to think about it.

   There are alot of women who can't have kids for a plethora of medical reasons. By aborting a baby, not only are you taking away the chance for a person to come into this world and be something special, but you are insulting women who struggle everyday to have a kid. I know there a programs to help pregnant women who do not want their kids find a woman who can't have kids and really want one. So instead of killing a baby, why not do some good in this world and help an unfortunate woman out? At the very least, your irresponsibilty would help bring a lifetime of joy to someone.

   I know, i know, alot of people disagree with birth control and everything else. All i have to say is, this is no longer 1920. Times have changed for better or for worse. We have to be tolerant of people. I am Catholic, how good of a person would i be if i just went around spitting on other religions because they dont believe in everything i did? I very bad person, that's the answer. Tolerancy does have its limits, though. Lets just say, abortion. Acts like that are at the very least unaccepable.

   In conclusion, women, you do have a right to choose, but your choice should be to be responsible. Mistakes are mistakes and we all learn from them. Why would you take a life for your mistakes? I hope to be an elected official one day, and when that day comes, i want to set up an extensive program to help bring abortion down and set up more kids with mothers who cant have kids. We save a life and bring joy to another life. It is a win-win for us all.
